Overview of 565 Broome Street

565 Broome SoHo is the first and only residential building in New York City designed by the acclaimed Pritzker Prize-winning architect Renzo Piano. Rising 30 stories tall from a shared podium, the two-tower building is the tallest condominium in SoHo.

Its thoughtful design pays homage to the neighborhood’s rich architectural heritage while providing its 115 residences with sweeping river and city views. The building’s façade features a stunning curtain wall of low-iron, extra-wide glass, offering exceptional clarity and an almost crystalline quality. Rounded, non-segmented glass corners eliminate harsh angles, creating a sense of floating above the Manhattan skyline.

Each home is impeccably designed, featuring formal entry foyers, floor-to-ceiling windows, and custom kitchens with solid fluted white oak cabinetry, a central island breakfast bar, Basaltina lavastone countertops, and Zucchetti fixtures. Other comforts include high-capacity washers, vented dryers, and multi-zoned heating and cooling systems for optimal comfort.

565 Broome SoHo's amenities include a 24-hour concierge, an attended lobby, a private gated driveway with automated parking, a mail/package room with cold storage, a beautifully landscaped outdoor terrace, a 55-foot indoor swimming pool, and a fitness center with a spa featuring sauna and steam rooms. Additional highlights include an interior lounge with 92-foot ceilings, a live green wall, a library, and a wet bar.

Located at the nexus of SoHo, Hudson Square (West SoHo), and Tribeca, 565 Broome provides convenient access to Hudson River Park, world-class dining, boutique shopping, and easy getaways via the Holland Tunnel. Public transit options include the Canal Street 1 and A/C/E subway lines, offering effortless connectivity to the rest of the city.

Carter’s Review

"This stunning, twin-tower development at 565 Broome Street in SoHo overlooking the Freeman Plaza approach to the Holland Tunnel was developed by Bizzi & Partners Development, Aronov Development, Halpern Real Estate Ventures, Cindat Capital Management and Michael Shvo.

The Renzo Piano Workshop was the architect.  It is Mr. Piano's first residential project in the city.  Mr. Piano was the architect also of the recently opened Whitney Museum of American Art next to the southern end of the High Line Elevated Park in the West Village, a hulking structure that looks like a huge battleship overlooking the Hudson River. "
