Carter’s Review

"This 17-story, red-brick apartment building in the heart of the Upper East Side, was erected in 1956 and converted to a cooperative in 1983. The attractive, 160-unit building has an attractive lobby, concierge, doorman and some terraces and corner windows. Although Third Avenue has considerable traffic, the sidestreet is quiet. It is less than a block from a local subway station at Lexington Avenue, where Lenox Hill Hospital is located, and cross-town buses run on 79th Street. This area has many well-known restaurants, such as Mortimer's and Sette Mezzo, and boutiques and is not far from the famous art galleries and boutiques on Madison Avenue and the Museum Mile on Fifth Avenue including the nearby Whitney Museum of American Art."

Sales History

Price/Room (Est)

Why are we displaying the estimated price per room?

For some co-ops, instead of price per square foot, we use an estimate of the number of rooms for each sold apartment to chart price changes over time. This is because many co-op listings do not include square footage information, and this makes it challenging to calculate accurate square-foot averages.

By displaying the price per estimated room count, we are able to provide a more reliable and consistent metric for comparing sales in the building. While we hope that this gives you a clearer sense of price trends in the building, all data should be independently verified. All data provided are only estimates and should not be used to make any purchase or sale decision.
