Carter’s Review

"This attractive, 18-story, mid-block apartment building was erected in 1963. It is a cooperative with 132 apartments.

The streetscape here is excellent with views of Trump Place to the east and the great Art Deco tower of the New York Hospital skyscraper to the west. This building is just to the east of the very handsome modern apartment building at 333 East 69th Street and the south side of the street has many tower houses on either side of the yellow minaret of the First Hungarian Reform Church of New York, which was erected in 1915."

Broker & Buyer Comments

This "impeccably maintained" Upper East Side co-op boasts a "grand renovated lobby" and "24/7 doorman service" with a "meticulously attentive" super running a "tight ship." While the "stringent board" and "detailed application process" speak to the building's exclusivity, residents enjoy "convenient amenities" including on-site laundry. The "prime location" offers easy access to crosstown transit, with the "charming" 68th Street playground nearby and "abundant dining options" along First and Second Avenues.

Price/Room (Est)

Why are we displaying the estimated price per room?

For some co-ops, instead of price per square foot, we use an estimate of the number of rooms for each sold apartment to chart price changes over time. This is because many co-op listings do not include square footage information, and this makes it challenging to calculate accurate square-foot averages.

By displaying the price per estimated room count, we are able to provide a more reliable and consistent metric for comparing sales in the building. While we hope that this gives you a clearer sense of price trends in the building, all data should be independently verified. All data provided are only estimates and should not be used to make any purchase or sale decision.
